Hanuman Chalisa, Chaupai 33

Meaning of “tumhare bhajan rām ko pāvai”

"tumhare bhajan rām ko pāvai" is Chaupai 33 of the Hanuman Chalisa, which Tulsidas wrote in Awadhi. It means: By singing of you a person reaches Rama and leaves behind the sorrows of birth after birth. Read it slowly, one half at a time, and say the Awadhi aloud.

तुम्हरे भजन राम को पावै ।जनम जनम के दुख बिसरावै ॥tumhare bhajan rām ko pāvaijanam janam ke dukh bisarāvai

By singing of you a person reaches Rama and leaves behind the sorrows of birth after birth.
