Hanuman Chalisa, Chaupai 27

Meaning of “sab par rām tapasvī rājā”

"sab par rām tapasvī rājā" is Chaupai 27 of the Hanuman Chalisa, which Tulsidas wrote in Awadhi. It means: Rama, the ascetic king, is above all, and you carried out every one of his tasks. Read it slowly, one half at a time, and say the Awadhi aloud.

सब पर राम तपस्वी राजा ।तिन के काज सकल तुम साजा ॥sab par rām tapasvī rājātin ke kāj sakal tum sājā

Rama, the ascetic king, is above all, and you carried out every one of his tasks.
