जब इस मनुष्यशरीरमें सब द्वारोंइन्द्रियों और अन्तःकरण में प्रकाश स्वच्छता और ज्ञान विवेक प्रकट हो जाता है, तब जानना चाहिये कि सत्त्वगुण बढ़ा हुआ है ॥
English
When light, clarity, and understanding arise in all the gates of this body, know that sattva has grown strong.
श्लोक का अर्थ
When the senses and mind become bright, clear, and wise, that is a sign that sattva is increasing.

On the battlefield, Krishna is explaining the three gunas to Arjuna, who is overwhelmed and unable to act clearly. After describing how the other qualities dominate, Krishna now points to the sign of sattva: inner brightness, understanding, and lucidity in the whole body-mind system.
