द्रोण, भीष्म, जयद्रथ और कर्ण तथा अन्य सभी मेरे द्वारा मारे हुए शूरवीरोंको तुम मारो । तुम व्यथा मत करो और युद्ध करो । युद्धमें तुम निःसन्देह वैरियोंको जीतोगे ॥
English
Drona, Bhishma, Jayadratha, Karna, and the other great warriors have already been slain by Me. Do not falter; fight, and you will surely conquer your enemies in battle.
श्लोक का अर्थ
Krishna tells Arjuna that the great warriors are already defeated in the larger order of events. Arjuna should stop trembling, keep fighting, and trust that victory is already assured.

On Kurukshetra, Arjuna still stands shaken before the cosmic form. Krishna names Drona, Bhishma, Jayadratha, Karna, and the rest as already fallen in His vision, then pushes Arjuna back into action. The verse seals the command: fight without fear.
