Kabir did not write; he sang. His dohe travelled for centuries through wandering singers, and each region shaped them to its own speech. So we do not call any doha fake. Each card says where the doha is found:
Kabir Granthavali (ed. Shyamsundar Das): the standard scholarly edition of his sakhis. Kavita-Kaumudi vol 1 (Ramnaresh Tripathi, 1917): an anthology more than a century old. Sung tradition: dohe that are in neither, but are sung in Kabir's name in folk and bhajan singing.
A week of lines for what you are facing, in your inbox.
Send my weekA weaver-poet of Varanasi in the fifteenth century. His short two-line verses, the dohe or sakhis, were sung for centuries before anyone wrote them down. Hindus and Muslims both claim him.
He did not write; he sang. His language, called Sadhukkadi, mixes Awadhi, Braj, Khari Boli, Rajasthani and Punjabi. That is why one doha can turn up in several spellings.
The world wore itself out reading books and no one became wise. Whoever learns the two and a half letters of "prem" (love) is the learned one.
Kabir Jayanti falls on Jyeshtha Purnima, which is 18 June 2027. Guru Purnima, when his guru dohe are shared most, is 18 July 2027.

15 lines in Kabir's name use the words nari or kamini. We read each one and left out the 2 that demean women. The doha "Kshama badan ko" belongs to Rahim, so it is not here.
84 lines in the source set repeat with small changes; each doha appears here once.
