मय्यर्पितमनोबुद्धिर्मामेवैष्यस्यसंशयम् ॥
Hindi · हिन्दी
इसलिये तू सब समयमें मेरा स्मरण कर और युद्ध भी कर । मेरेमें मन और बुद्धि अर्पित करनेवाला तू निःसन्देह मेरेको ही प्राप्त होगा ॥
English
Therefore, remember Me at all times and fight. With mind and intellect offered to Me, you will surely come to Me.
What this verse means
Keep the divine in mind all the time, do your duty, and place your thoughts and understanding there. Then you will surely reach the divine.
Context & commentary
On Kurukshetra, Arjuna stands frozen before the battle. Krishna has already taught that the final thought shapes the final destination. Now he goes further: remembrance and action are not opposites, and a warrior can fight without losing inward devotion.
Why this verse still matters
You are in the middle of a hard conversation, heart racing, ready to back away. This verse says you can stay present, do what must be done, and keep your attention anchored.
The takeaway
You do not have to choose between devotion and action. Both can live in the same moment.
