A language model does not translate the Sanskrit. - Commentary (meaning, detailed meaning, modern relevance): drafted with a language model from the human translation, then checked and edited by Ankur before it goes up. Each page says so in its byline and shows a last-reviewed date. - Verse citations, cross-references and named commentators' views are checked by hand against a sourced edition. Corrections are noted on the page. - Other texts: Upanishad Sanskrit is checked against the sanskritdocuments.org editions; Mahabharata lines use a southern-recension text read with Nilakantha's commentary; Vivekananda lines are matched to his Complete Works. - [Methodology](https://wisdomquotes.in/methodology), [About the editor](https://wisdomquotes.in/about), [Other Gita sites and commentaries](https://wisdomquotes.in/resources) - Report an error: work.ankurshukla@gmail.com ## iPhone app - [Wisdom for iPhone](https://wisdomquotes.in/app) ([App Store](https://apps.apple.com/app/id6747684125)): a verse a day, Lock Screen widgets, and a 7-day plan picked for what you are going through.
